The Central Park steering committee will begin community consultations next month for the development of an "ice and water" facility.
The facility will incorporate the existing YMCA, the Curling Club building, and the outdoor ice rink.
Committee co-chair Brian Saunderson said the recreational facility will create more opportunities for Collingwood's young athletes.
