COLLINGWOOD - The town and Collingwood's YMCA will strike a partnership to examine whether Central Park become home to a multi-use facility.
On Monday night, council unanimously passed a motion supporting the town and Y examining the design, costing, and fundraising opportunities that could see part of the site - including the curling club, the Y, and a possible two-pad ice rink facility - enclosed under one roof.
Parks, Recreation and Culture director Marta Procter said a report would come back to council in eight weeks.
